Studi in silico senyawa metabolit sekunder kelor (Moringa oleifera F) sebagai antidiabetes

Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat secara global. Keterbatasan efektivitas dan efek samping terapi konvensional mendorong pencarian obat baru yang lebih aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi potensi dua metabolit sekunder daun kelor (Moringa oleifera), yaitu kuersetin dan kaempferol, sebagai antidiabetes melalui pendekatan in silico. Tahapan metode meliputi identifikasi senyawa via KNaPSAcK, validasi via PubChem, prediksi aktivitas biologis via PASS Online, serta evaluasi toksisitas via ProTox-II. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kuersetin dan kaempferol memiliki probabilitas aktivitas ( ) > 0,7 sebagai inhibitor -glukosidase. Kedua senyawa memiliki profil toksisitas rendah dengan nilai LD50 masing-masing sebesar dan . Selain itu, kuersetin dan kaempferol tidak menunjukkan potensi efek mutagenik, karsinogenik, maupun hepatotoksik. Keunggulan penelitian ini terletak pada penggunaan pendekatan bioinformatika terintegrasi untuk menyaring kandidat fitofarmaka secara sistematis. Temuan ini menjadi dasar ilmiah pengembangan herbal antidiabetes berbasis kelor, meskipun konfirmasi uji in vitro dan in vivo lanjutan tetap diperlukan.
