Analisis soal esai materi bioteknologi berdasarkan literasi biologi pada buku teks dan buku sekolah elektronik biologi SMA

Abstract

Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) dan buku teks cetak berfungsi sebagai instrumen utama dalam proses pembelajaran biologi, termasuk sebagai acuan penyusunan alat evaluasi berupa soal esai. Materi bioteknologi menjadi fokus krusial dalam kurikulum karena keterkaitannya yang erat dengan perkembangan sains serta teknologi global. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis muatan aspek literasi biologi pada soal esai materi bioteknologi dalam enam buku teks kelas XII SMA. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas tiga buku teks komersial (A, B, C) dan tiga BSE (D, E, F) terbitan Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa soal esai pada keenam buku tersebut merepresentasikan lima aspek literasi biologi, meliputi K1, K3, K4, K5, dan K6. Buku BSE E dan Buku Teks A mencatatkan persentase tertinggi (83,33%) dengan sebaran jumlah soal paling dominan, mengindikasikan kualitas instrumen evaluasi yang lebih komprehensif. Sebaliknya, Buku Teks B, C, serta BSE D dan F memiliki persentase yang sama (50%) dengan kuantitas soal yang terbatas, sehingga dikategorikan cukup baik. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya peningkatan variasi serta kedalaman muatan aspek literasi biologi pada instrumen esai guna menstimulasi kompetensi abad ke-21 peserta didik secara optimal.
