Pengaruh 5E instructional model disertai case method materi virus terhadap kemampuan critical thinking dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 5E Instructional Model disertai case method terhadap kemampuan critical thinking dan hasil belajar siswa biologi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian quasi experiment. Desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel ialah purposive sampling melalui uji kesetaraan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 36 siswa X3 sebagai kelas kontrol, 36 siswa X2 sebagai kelas eksperimen II, dan 36 siswa X4 sebagai kelas eksperimen I, Tempat penelitian ialah di SMAN 1 Jember pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan K-Independent Samples yakni Kruskal Wallis dengan uji lanjut Mann Whitney karena hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas tidak memenuhi syarat uji parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh 5E Instructional Model disertai case method terhadap kemampuan critical thinking dan hasil belajar siswa.
